    REGISTRATION PROCESS

    Registration for students new to the Division, including Kindergarten, begins February 2, 2026. Parents can go to epsb.ca to access the forms. 

    If you are registering for Kindergarten or if you are new to Edmonton Public Schools, you must register online.

    NEW STUDENT REGISTRATION

    If your child is new to Edmonton Public Schools, you can register for school online. Visit the Division website to learn how to register for school.

    If you have questions about registering, contact the school office.

    CURRENT DIVISION STUDENTS PRE-ENROL

    You will need to pre-enrol on SchoolZone to tell us the school you’d like your child to attend next year. Find important dates and deadlines and learn more about pre-enrolment, which opens at 8 a.m. on February 2.

    Update your child’s current address with the school office before pre-enrolling in SchoolZone. 

    KINDERGARTEN AGE

    If your child is born in 2021, your child may start Kindergarten in September 2026.

    Children who are five years old on or before December 31, 2026 may register in Kindergarten for the 2026-27 school year.

    Lymburn School

    For the 2025 - 2026 school year, Lymburn  School is full in planned classes for Grades 1 to 6 in the Cogito program. We will no longer accept students in these grades.  Lymburn School is also full in planned classes for Grade 3 in the regular program. For the regular program, we will now only accept resident students for Grade 3 whose parent(s)/legal guardian(s) have newly moved into the school’s attendance area. A resident student of Edmonton Public Schools has at least one parent or legal guardian living in Edmonton who is not Roman Catholic. Non-resident students can enrol in another Division school with space in planned classes.

    If you are new to Edmonton Public Schools, you must register online. 

    Located in West Edmonton, Lymburn School takes pride on being a student-centered, curriculum-focused school where children learn and grow in a caring, supportive and encouraging environment.

    We provide a diverse range of extra-curricular activities and clubs for students in order to enhance their citizenship and character qualities.  

    Our school community of staff, students, and parents work in a tight-knit partnership to provide challenging learning experiences that help our students achieve to their highest level.  We have created a welcoming and supportive learning environment that one feels immediately upon entering our doors.

Principal's Message

Dear Lymburn Families,

It is my honour to welcome you to a new year at Lymburn School. The beginning of the school year is always an exciting time. New friends, new teachers and support staff and lots of new learning!  I am thrilled to be a part of the Lymburn school community and look forward to getting to know each and every student, staff member and family.

Our school is an inclusive school setting built on citizenship and a dedicated effort to enhance students in both academic and social-emotional growth. Along with a traditional Kindergarten to Grade 6 program and the Cogito Program in Kindergarten to Grade 6, Lymburn has three classrooms that honour the unique and individual needs of students in the Interactions Program.

We encourage all parents to take an active role in their child’s education by reading with them daily, attending school events, and checking SchoolZone regularly for class and school updates. Our primary means of communication will continue to be SchoolZone. School news and events are posted as information becomes available. Please contact the school if you have any questions or concerns.
